MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three teenagers suspected in a carjacking — along with their alleged victim — were arrested Thursday after a police search in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
The Olive Branch Police Department responded around 3 p.m. to a reported carjacking on Chateau Drive. Officers soon located the stolen vehicle and one suspect near Hacks Cross and Nichols Boulevard. The suspect ditched the car and fled on foot.
Moments later, officers found him hiding in a dumpster near Old Goodman Road and Highway 302. He was taken into custody.
With assistance from the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, police identified and apprehended two more suspects involved in the incident.
The arrested individuals include:

Amirian Jones, 17, of Olive Branch — charged with armed carjacking

Martavious Mitchell, 17, of Olive Branch — charged with armed carjacking

Mario Northern, 18, of Olive Branch — charged with armed carjacking
Police also arrested the alleged victim, Deunte Green, 18, of Olive Branch. He faces charges for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
