An 18-year-old man is accused of fatally shooting two of his family members during a domestic dispute early Monday morning, according to Elk Grove police.
Officers responded to a home on Triplefin Way, near Whitelock Parkway, shortly after 5:30 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
At the scene, police found two men, ages 51 and 19, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities have not yet released their identities.
The suspect, identified as Noah Battaglia, was arrested about two hours later at a residence in south Sacramento.
Investigators confirmed that the incident was confined to the home and posed no ongoing threat to the public.
A significant police presence remained in the neighborhood throughout the morning as authorities continued their investigation.
