An 18-year-old from Mississippi has been arrested and charged following a deadly crash Wednesday evening on Brick Church Pike in Nashville.
According to Metro Nashville Police, the collision occurred in the 2400 block of Brick Church Pike when Joshua McNeal was driving a RAM 1500 pickup truck northbound at a high rate of speed. Investigators say McNeal attempted to pass other vehicles by using the center two-way left-turn lane.

The driver of the Honda was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died. The driver of the Camry was not injured. McNeal and his two passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated at local hospitals.
Police noted that no signs of impairment were present at the scene.
After being discharged from the hospital, McNeal was booked into custody and charged with:
-
Vehicular homicide by reckless conduct
-
Reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle
-
Three counts of aggravated assault
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
