Authorities Searching for Two Mississippi Brothers Linked to Double Murder at Weekend Party

Law enforcement officials are searching for two Mississippi brothers believed to be involved in a double homicide that occurred over the weekend in Starkville.

Oktibbeha County deputies are actively looking for Travis Chandler, 34, and Devon Chandler, 27. Investigators say the brothers are connected to a deadly shooting that took place during a party early Saturday morning on Kincaid Road in Starkville. Murder warrants have been issued for both men.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on June 29, 2025. According to authorities, two unidentified victims were shot and later died from their injuries at OCH Regional Medical Center.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Travis or Devon Chandler’s location to contact the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office at (662) 323-2421 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151
